Accomodation
Beaufort Park Hotel
This modern, countryside hotel and conference centre is 1.6 miles from the historic market town centre and 11 miles from Chester.
The low-key rooms offer en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded rooms add lounge areas and DVD players, and suites feature Jacuzzi baths. An apartment comes with an extra bedroom, a kitchen, a sitting/dining room and a walk-in shower.
Parking is free, and continental or full Welsh breakfast is available for a surcharge. There’s an informal bar and coffee house with a bar menu, and a fine-dining restaurant serving local produce. The hotel has 6 meeting/conference rooms.
Itinerary
DAY 1
Meet your coach at your selected joining point and travel to Dublin Port for the early morning ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival in Holyhead, we travel to visit the cathedral city Of Bangor the oldest city in Wales combing fascinating history with a modern vibe. Afterwards re-join your coach as we continue the journey to our hotel near Mold arriving late afternoon. Check-in, relax and freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2
After breakfast join your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) we start the day with a visit to Conway, home of the famous castle with fantastic views out to sea. During our break here you could visit the castle (payable locally), wander by the quayside or perhaps visit’ The smallest House in Great Britain’! Afterwards rejoin your coach as we travel along the coastline to Beaumaris. A delight village on the shoe of the Isle of Anglesey. We have some free time to stretch our legs before we head to the pier to board a 75-minute cruise to Puffin Island. The island is home to a colony of grey seals, and you may spot dolphins or porpoise. Late afternoon, re-join your coach and return to your hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner.
DAY 3 -
This morning after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we begin the day with a drive through the pleasant Cheshire countryside brings us to Chester for the day. The Historic city offers lots to see and do. Explore the unique ‘Rows’ of two-tired shops, take a stroll around the city walls, meander down to the river Dee and maybe enjoy lunch in a riverside pub or just relax and watch the world go by. Also enjoy a 30-minute Chester Sightseeing Cruise (time will be confirmed by your tour manager) Afterwards re-join your coach and return to your hotel to relax before dinner.
DAY 4 -
After breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we head for the city of Liverpool where the day is free for you to explore at leisure. The city has some very interesting museums to visit. Try the Beatles Story Museum, portraying the journey of how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of fame and fortune form their humble childhood beginnings. Alternatively if you’re looking for a spot of retail therapy, visit the one shopping complex. Late afternoon, re-join your coach and return to your hotel to relax before dinner.
DAY 5 -
This morning after a leisurely breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to Holyhead with a comfort stop en-route before joining the early afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin Port. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
