Downton Abbey, Blenheim Palace & The Shakespeare’s Experience
This tour takes in some of the most iconic sites in England. We start in Highclere Castle – the home of Downton Abbey where we get to visit both the Castle, Egyptian Exhibition & Gardens. The following day, we visit Blenheim Palace, one of the largest houses in the UK. Following this we take in the Shakespeare’s Experience in Stratford-upon-Avon. All tours are self-guided.

- Travel Insurance: €26.00 per adult / €12.00 per child
- €18.00 supplement per person if picking coach up outside Dublin
- A Client Protection Bond of 3% is not included and will be added on to the total gross price of a booking. This Bond protects our clients in the event of supplier business failure. All bookings and transactions are subject to this charge

A valid passport is required for all passengers, including Irish & UK citizens. You may need an ETA for travel to Britain if you are not a British or Irish citizen. Non-EU nationals should travel with a valid passport and check visa requirements before booking. Failure to supply this information will mean you will not be able to travel and you will be asked to leave the tour (full cancellation charges will apply).

Downton Abbey has charmed over 400 million people around the world and Highclere has been so fortunate to have been part of the journey. Of all the much-love fictional characters the Castle plays its starring role beautifully - even if we are all slightly biased! - the first Downton Abbey television series was filmed in 2010 at Highclere Castle and continued for six years followed by a number of films!
Your tour is of the Castle, Egyptian Exhibition & Gardens is self-guided. We will have ample time to visit the Tearooms and Gift Shop.

Blenheim Palace is a country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough. Originally called Blenheim Castle, it has been known as Blenheim Palace since the 19th century. One of England's largest houses, it was built between 1705 and 1722, and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is the home of the Spencer – Churchill family

Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, William Shakespeare’s childhood home, located in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. You’ll also have the opportunity to get up close to objects from the Trust’s world class collections.
