DAY 1 -Journey to County Clare & Settle In

Your adventure begins as you meet your coach at your chosen pick-up point. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic journey as we travel towards the heart of County Clare, with convenient comfort stops along the way to stretch your legs and grab refreshments.  By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at the welcoming Treacy’s West County Hotel, your home for the next few nights. After check-in, take some time to unwind, settle into your room, or explore the hotel’s amenities before gathering for a delicious evening meal.  Let the excitement build—your Irish getaway has officially begun!

2

DAY 2 - Step Back in Time at Bunratty Castle & Explore Ennis

This morning, board your coach for a journey into Ireland’s rich past with a visit to the iconic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Begin your day by exploring the grand halls, spiral staircases, and centuries-old chambers of Bunratty Castle, one of the most complete and authentically restored medieval fortresses in Ireland.  Next, wander through the Folk Park, a living history museum that brings 19th-century Ireland to life. Stroll along a recreated village street lined with a traditional pub, schoolhouse, and general store. Explore authentic farmhouses from different regions of the country, where costumed characters demonstrate crafts and daily life from a bygone era.  In the afternoon, enjoy some free time in the charming town of Ennis. Whether you choose to browse the local shops, relax in a café, or simply soak in the town’s historic atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to unwind at your own pace.  Later, rejoin your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) for the short journey back to your hotel, where you can relax before the evening ahead.

3

DAY 3 - Vandeleur Walled Gardens & Flying Boats

After breakfast this morning (your tour manager will confirm the departure time), board your coach for a day filled with history, horticulture, and heritage.  Your first stop is the enchanting Vandeleur Walled Garden in Kilrush. Tucked behind centuries-old stone walls, this beautifully restored garden is a hidden gem bursting with vibrant plant life, rare trees, and whimsical features. Explore the visitor centre, where interactive exhibits offer a fascinating glimpse into the garden’s storied past. A guided tour will bring the landscape to life as you stroll through its peaceful paths.  Afterward rejoin your coach, travel to Killimer to board the short 20-minute ferry across the Shannon Estuary to Tarbert—a scenic crossing that offers lovely views of the water and surrounding countryside.  Upon arrival in Tarbert, continue to the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, the only museum of its kind in the world. Step aboard a full-sized replica of a 1940s flying boat and immerse yourself in the golden age of aviation. Discover how this small Irish town became a hub for pioneering aviators and Hollywood stars—and don’t miss the story of how Irish Coffee was born right here!

Rejoin your coach to travel back to your hotel near Ennis to relax and unwind before dinner after a day of discovery.

Day 4- Discover the Cliffs of Moher & the Wonders of the Wild Atlantic Way

After breakfast, this morning (your tour manager will confirm the exact departure time), board your coach for an unforgettable journey to one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks—the Cliffs of Moher. Towering above the Atlantic Ocean, these dramatic sea cliffs offer awe-inspiring views and a true sense of nature’s raw beauty. Feel the ocean breeze, listen to the call of seabirds, and take in the panoramic vistas that stretch for miles—this is Ireland at its most majestic.  From there, continue your adventure through the unique limestone landscape of The Burren, a geological marvel rich in rare flora and ancient history. Travel through the spa town of Lisdoonvarna, known for its matchmaking festival, before arriving in the quaint village of Kilfenora, home to historic high crosses and a peaceful rural charm.  Enjoy some free time to explore and maybe grab some refreshments (please note that if you wish to visit the Burren Visitors Centre, it is payable locally).  Then it’s back to the hotel to unwind and freshen up before a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 5- Farewell to County Clare & a stop in Athlone

After breakfast and check-out this morning (your tour manager will confirm the departure time), it’s time to bid a fond farewell to the scenic beauty of County Clare. Board your coach and begin the journey home, with one final stop to enjoy along the way.  We’ll pause in the vibrant town of Athlone, nestled on the banks of the River Shannon and steeped in history. Here, you’ll have free time to explore at your leisure—perhaps take a tour of the impressive Athlone Castle (admission payable locally), browse the many shops and boutiques, or indulge in a delicious lunch at one of the town’s acclaimed eateries.  After soaking up the charm and culture of Athlone, rejoin your coach for the final leg of the journey, returning to your original pick-up point with wonderful memories of your time in Ireland.
